“LES INVISIBLES”: THIS WINTER’S MOST ANTICIPATED SERIES
Dec 18, 2018

Starting January at TVA!

Starting January 7 at 9 p.m., TVA invites you to meet behind-the-scenes players who won’t remain unknown much longer. Les Invisibles features four agents – Bruno Marcil, Karine Gonthier-Hyndman, Benoît Mauffette and Danièle Lorain – and their assistants, working tirelessly to score the best gigs for their prestigious clients. These colourful characters lead rather complicated lives, representing a vast array of beloved and respected Quebec artists, whom the public mistakenly think they know. Inside AMG Agency, we’ll get to see these celebrities in a very different light through the naïve eyes of a new employee (Carla Turcotte), who happens to be the illegitimate daughter of one of the agents.

With its sparkling wit, quick pacing and strong dose of emotions, Les Invisibles is one of this winter’s most highly-anticipated new shows. Producer and director Sophie Lorain and Alexis Durand Brault, from production house ALSO, fell in love with this concept at first sight. They partnered with Richard Lalonde from Forum Films, in collaboration with Quebecor Content, to bring this very charming fictional tale to life. The cast of characters is fleshed out by writer Catherine Léger, whose other credits include the movie Charlotte a du fun and collaborations on several episodes of Au secours de Béatrice.

Les Invisibles is a Quebec adaptation of Dix pour cent, a huge hit in France. The show gives us an all-access pass to the hidden side of show business via four agents and their surprising roster of clients, which includes actors, singers, hosts and writers. Throughout the first 12 hour-long episodes airing this winter, AMG Agency will host the following celebrities, all playing themselves: Pierre-Luc Brillant, France Castel, Guillaume Cyr, Hélène Florent, Rémy Girard, Rachel Graton, Marc-André Grondin, Diane Lavallée, Laurence Leboeuf, Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge, Sophie Lorain, Debbie Lynch-White, Louise Marleau, Mariana Mazza, Marc Messier and Patrice Robitaille.

“Everyone at TVA is very excited about this new show, which features an amazing cast and an extremely gifted creative team, led by Sophie Lorain and Alexis Durand Brault,” explains Suzane Landry, Senior Director, Stations & Programming, TVA Group. “Les Invisibles is a deeply human and very touching series, punctuated with some biting humour. Viewers will have lots of fun following the different fictional stories of their favourite artists, appearing as themselves.” Les Invisibles: Premieres Monday, January 7, 2019 at 9 p.m.
