Mario Marois appointed General Manager, Sales – Newspapers & Magazines
Quebecor expands its leverage and consolidates its leadership in the print media industry with the appointment of Mario Marois as General Manager, Sales – Newspapers & Magazines. Working within the Sales team, Mr. Marois’ main responsibility will be to optimize sales and develop the company’s print business.
Currently President of the Blainville Armada – a role he will continue to carry out until the end of the current season – Mario Marois has over 20 years of experience in the media industry. He was Regional General Manager of Quebecor Media from 2009 to 2014 and spent several years in management positions for the company’s weeklies, most notably as Development & Operations Manager, Regional Newspapers.
Mario Marois also made his mark through his remarkable contributions to the development and integration of Quebecor’s various advertising platforms (i.e. print, TV and distribution). His business and sales knowledge will be an undeniable asset as the company pursues its growth objectives.
A Business & Marketing graduate of Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Mario Marois knows the print media industry inside out. His solid experience includes work mandates in several regions across Quebec.
