Quebecor Content and Fair-Play for their C21 International Awards nomination, as their production Révolution finds itself short-listed for Best Competition Reality Format. Every year, these prestigious awards celebrate the best TV formats from around the world.
Created by Quebecor Content and Fair-Play, Révolution has undoubtedly been the TV sensation of the fall 2018 season, with nearly 1.3 million viewers and a weekly market share of 34.8%*. The show was particularly popular among adults aged 25 to 54. As a result of the its initial success, a second season has been confirmed for this fall on TVA.
This was the first TV production in the world to use a ground-breaking 128-camera apparatus providing amazing 360-degree perspectives – a technique that was developed in Quebec especially for Révolution. The concept is generating lots of international buzz, having already been sold in France and Spain. The show is also an online hit, with one of its duo performances generating over 19 million online views – and counting!
