Sucré Salé is the ultimate summer treat – your daily dose of genuine, refreshing and entertaining encounters orchestrated by Patrice Bélanger and his collaborators. Weekdays at 6:30 p.m. starting May 20, Sucré Salé delivers the sunshine, as well as all the info you need to enjoy the arts & entertainment scene across the province.

From one summer to the next, Quebecers never lose their enthusiasm for this concept produced by Société générale de production inc., in collaboration with Quebecor Content. With his spontaneous, authentic and inquisitive personality, our host brings viewers a light and humorous touch that’s always appreciated.

Season 18 starts with a bang from New York City, with seven new collaborators joining the Sucré Salé family: Billy Tellier, Étienne Dano, Julie Ringuette, Gabrielle Caron, Laura Compan, Félix-Antoine Tremblay and Alexandre Lapointe.

These newbies will be joining Bryan Audet, Rosalie Bonenfant, Ève A. Côté, Alexandre Despatie, Varda Étienne, Pierre-Alexandre Fortin, Joanie Gonthier, Marie-Josée Gauvin, Kevin Raphael, Marie-Eve Janvier and Francisco Randez.

New York, New York

To kick off the new season, Patrice Bélanger and his team are taking a bite out of the Big Apple. Every Monday for three weeks, Sucré Salé gives beloved local artists a chance to live the American Dream, as Ginette Reno celebrates her 73rd birthday in Times Square, Cœur de Pirate tickles the ivories at iconic Steinway Hall, and Katherine Levac attends the Broadway play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Sucré Salé in Quebec City

More big news this season: the team will visit Quebec City several times, and report on different regional activities from across the province.

Get Ready for a Spectacular First Week

Monday, Patrice has a big surprise in New York that will make Ginette Reno feel like a kid again, and Mariana Mazza guides us through the Thierry Mugler exhibit. On Tuesday, Patrice meets up with the inimitable Marc Labrèche, Marie-Eve Janvier talks about joining Forever Gentlemen, and we chat with Charlize Theron and Seth Rogan. On Wednesday, Lara Fabian sits down with Patrice and talks for the first time about her mother’s death; plus: we meet the voices behind the characters of the animated musical Ugly Dolls, and we catch up with Snoop Dog. On Thursday, there’s nostalgia in the air as we welcome the unstoppable Patsy Gallant and we celebrate the 35th anniversary of the cult TV show Épopée Rock with Thomas Gratton and Mario Lirette. On Friday, it’s back to New York to interview Halle Berry and Keanu Reeves, as well as popular singer Julia Michaels; also, Mathieu Dufour takes us into his equestrian world and Yama Laurent talks about her first album.

Host Patrice Bélanger and the entire Sucré Salé team are ready and waiting for you on TVA starting this Monday, for another summer of festive get-togethers that everyone can enjoy.
